We never stop being excited by the developments in communication technology that have come about in the last 25 years or so, and their potential to improve our lives.
For years we’ve been saying that 400 years ago the King of England would have given half his kingdom for a second hand car that we can buy in 2016 for 10 weeks of our wages/salary – because, 400 years ago, even if you were the King of England, the only way you could travel 40 miles was by sitting on the back of a horse for 8 hours.
And now we think that 400 years ago people like the King of England would have given just as much for the communication technology you and I have at our fingertips almost for nothing,
