When you visit the Platinum Dermatology website and seek to send them a letter, you find that they don’t have an ordinary email address – just an email form. At the top of this form they have:-
But, as part of this form, is this:-
It’s the oblong in which you are supposed to fit all of what you want to say, but if what you want to say is of any length, you can’t. Normally, with such oblongs, you can make them bigger, but not on the Platinum Dematology email form!
And if you send them a letter using this form, as we have done, you get this back:-
but more than 24 hours later during weekdays you’ve got nothing more!!!!
In such circumstances we think you’re entitled to think that everyone in Platinum Dermatology and everyone associated with it is an idiot, but time and time again, in dealing with the NSW/Australian medical profession, you come against this sort of thing.
Of course, it’s open to all the individuals in the NSW/Australian medical profession to do better, but very few seem to have the ability and/or the interest to do better. They obviously think that we medical services consumers will put up with it – and perhaps they’re right.
To us, modern technology opens up for us the opportunity as individuals to only deal with the best – with very little extra effort.
